Earlier this month, Gray Property Group’s owner Nick Gray ran the Reebok Ragnar Reach The Beach Relay. This is a 201 mile relay race across New Hampshire, stretching from Bretton Woods through the White Mountains and Lakes Region and then eastward to Hampton Beach. Nick was part of a 6-man team that included his two brothers, Luke and Sam. Collectively, they ran the 201 mile race in 25 hours and 42 minutes, which required the 6 competitors to individually run between 31 and 38 miles each at an average pace of 7 minutes per mile – all while running around the clock and pulling an all nighter.
This experience is more than a relay race; it’s an overnight adventure, yearly tradition, and community celebration all rolled into one. The race showcases New Hampshire’s great natural beauty, including its White Mountains, Lakes Region, and Seacoast, plus the many rolling hills, covered bridges, and scenic expanses along the way. From ski slopes to the beach, there’s nothing quite like New England in the fall, and during this event Nick and the rest of the team got to experience every mile of it.
